You better support the site, or you’re screwed.

I sold 13 diapers for $3.07 each.

I had well over 150 diapers.  I donated 100 of them, sold 50.  They were worn by triplets, so some of them were in horrid condition.  Some  of them were newer, so I decided to sell some so I could buy some pull ups.

I went over the diapers very carefully.  I wanted $70 for them, but they were a mixed lot of covers, AIO’s and pocket diapers.  Not many people diversify like that, but having 5 kids in 3 years is not easy.  I decided to sell them as a lot, I just wanted them out of my hair.

I sold them.  The woman who got them complained that while they were in very good condition, the elastic was worn.  She sent pictures, and while the elastic was more loose in a few diapers, they were WAHM diapers.  They are all made differently, and the elastic was not broken or in bad shape, they were in good shape….just different.

I told her that I had a very hard time believing that the diapers were not satisfactory, but not wanting to deal with it I told her that I would reluctantly refund her money.

She goes into a RAGE stating that she doesn’t want a full refund because she likes most of the diapers, but she want’s me to “make it right”.  So I ask her exactly what she wants.  She wants to send the bad ones back, and wants me to refund her for those particular ones.

I don’t want them.  So I tell her that I will refund her the money for those diapers and she can donate them, use them, “fix” them, or throw them away….but I don’t want them back.

She then goes and gets moderator sweet_fantasy_fox involved.  From that moment on, I was disregarded and basically made to feel like crap.  I can’t figure it out until the moderator says that the buyer is a “site supporter”.   I am not…having many many small kids, I have had a total of 6 transactions on diaper swappers.

The buyer, moderator, and I come to final terms:

I am to issue her a full refund via money order, sent certified mail.  At this point I am PAYING her to keep the diapers, and to keep my reputation at 100%.

I agree, the moderator agrees, but 3 days goes by and I hear nothing from the buyer.  The next morning I wake up to negative feedback stating that I sold her “stained up diapers with broken elastic”  (if you remember from earlier in the conversation SHE had stated that the diapers were in beautiful condition, but the elastic was loose, my how the story changes.) , and that I refused to refund her!  WHA?!?!?

I contact the moderator and I state that we all agreed to the refund and why had she done this?  The answer????

“You were rude to her”

So it’s ok to LIE in a feedback because I was seriously frustrated with the buyer?????

Further attempts to contact the moderator have been unsuccessful because her inbox always seems to be full.

BE VERY CAREFUL.  Unless you are a “Site Supporter” don’t expect to be treated fairly.
